Formed to provide opportunities for the blind to improve their quality of life
by building self esteem and confidence through recreational sailing.
The governing body for competitive international sailing for persons who are
blind or visually impaired.
Free Sailing, Disabled sailing and adaptive sailing programs for people with
disabilities, disabled veterans, the handicapped, disabled children, sports
and recreational therapists and rehabilitation professionals.
Its objective is to teach people who are blind to sail autonomously.
Promoting Sailing for People with Disabilities Worldwide
Uses the activity of sailing, enriches the lives of people with any type of
disability, the elderly, the financially and socially disadvantaged.
Hosts adaptive sailing programs and competitions.
Aims to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities through
the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing.
The largest adaptive sailing program in California dedicated solely to opening new horizons for
hospital rehab patients.
