Alabama
  • Camp ASCCA
    Mission is to help children and adults with disabilities achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence.

Arizona
  • Camp Civitan
    Offers eight one-week camping sessions for people with disabilities.

Arkansas
  • Camp Aldersgate
    Camps for children and youth who have conditions such as cancer, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, epilepsy, kidney disorders, autism, Down's syndrome, and mental retardation.

California
  • Camp Beyond the Scars
    Camp Beyond the Scars consists of a three-day winter camp and a weeklong summer camp. Both camps provide a relaxed social setting, which offers burn-injured children the support and counseling needed to establish and enhance their self-esteem. Campers learn that there are other children who have had the same unfortunate experience. Camp has proved to be a positive, special experience for young burn survivors.
     
  • Camp Krem
    Provides summer camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities, such as Down Syndrome, Autism, and Cerebral Palsy.
     
  • Camp ReCreation
    Provides a residential summer camp program which offers participants with developmental disabilities opportunities for fun, social interaction, skill development, and spiritual growth while increasing the awareness and acceptance of our participants in the larger community.
     
  • Camping Unlimited
    A residential camp for children with developmental disabilities in Northern California's Santa Cruz Mountains.
     
  • Camp Rubber Soul
    To provide a unique recreational camp, integrating children with special needs and youth counselors to experience friendship, understanding, acceptance and allow respite for families and caregivers.
     
  • Kris' Camp
    Therapy camp focusing on children with autism/autistic like challenges
     
  • Special Camp for Special Kids
    Educational and recreational summer day camp for youth with disabilities in one-to-one peer relationships with volunteer counselors. 

Colorado

  • All Abilities Horse Camp
    The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center All Abilities Horse Camp offers an opportunity for children with and without disabilities to gain riding skills and learn about horses in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

  • Adam's Camp
    The mission of Adam’s Camp is to maximize the strengths and potential of children and young adults with special needs by bringing together dedicated families with outstanding professionals and volunteers to provide specialized intensive therapy programs, family support and recreational camps.

Connecticut

  • Camp Horizons
    Provide high quality residential, recreational, support and work programs for people who are developmentally disabled or who have other challenging social and emotional needs.

  • Hole In The Wall Gang Camp
    This camp founded by Paul Newman, is a nonprofit residential summer camp for children with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. Eight hundred children from 7 to 15 years old come each year, free of charge, from the U.S. and abroad.

Florida
  • Camp Thunderbird
    For developmentally disabled individuals from age 8 to 80.
     
Georgia
  • Camp Kudzu
    Provides education, recreation and peer-networking programs for Georgia's children with Type 1 ( Juvenile ) Diabetes.

    Camp Twin Lakes
    Camp Twin Lakes is the only camping facility in Georgia for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. The goal of the camp is to provide a great camping experience for children who otherwise might not have one and to do this in a supportive and nurturing environment.
     

  • Amputee Coalition of America Youth Camp
    The ACA covers all costs for attending the camp, but we have limited space, apply early. To be considered, you must be a young amputee between the ages of 10 and 17 and be ready for an exciting adventure!

Illinois
  • Camp Ability
    Traditional summer camp experience designed especially for children and young adults with spina bifida.

  • Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Burn Camp
    IFSA Burn Camp is the setting for burn survivors to share common experiences, make new friends and enjoy camp activities

Iowa
  • Camp Courageous
    Camp Courageous of Iowa is a year-round respite and recreational facility for individuals with disabilities of all ages.

Louisiana Maine
  • Camp Waban
    Camp Waban provides a summer camp vacation opportunity for children and adults with special needs. Campers have the opportunity to enjoy a weeklong overnight summer vacation that includes not only the traditional camp experience of boating, swimming, arts/crafts and campfires, but also trips to events and activities in the community.

  • Camp Kingswood’s Zohar Program
    The Zohar program is open to boys and girls ages 11 to 15. Campers represent children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, neurological, and learning challenges.
     
Maryland
  • Camp Greentop
    Residential camps specifically designed for children and adults with cognitive, physical, emotional and multiple disabilities.
     

Massachusetts
 
  • Camp Starfish
    Serves emotionally, behaviorally, and learning disabled children by providing a safe therapeutic milieu in a natural camp setting with a one-one camper to staff ratio.

Michigan

  • St. Francis Camp on the Lake
    This is a non-profit organization dedicated to the belief that mentally impaired children and adults should have the right to experience life to its fullest.

  • Trail's Edge Camp
    A summer camp for children with special medical needs: campers have tracheotomies or need ventilator assistance. They typically are thought to be too "medically fragile" to go to camp because of the specific care they require. Trail's Edge campers generally between the ages of 3-18 are given a unique opportunity to experience the joy of the great outdoors.

Minnesota
  • Camp Confidence
    A year-round center for persons with developmental disabilities specializing in recreation and outdoor education, the Confidence Learning Center serves persons of all ages and abilities.

  • Camp Friendship
    Friendship Ventures offers summer resident camp programs from June through August at Camp Friendship near Annandale, Minnesota, and Eden Wood Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Camp programs are open to anyone age 5 and older who has developmental and (or) physical disability. Participants with disabilities may bring a friend, brother or sister without a disability to "All Kids Belong" sessions at Camp Friendship or "Celebrate Summer" sessions at Eden Wood.

  • Camp Heartland
    The world's largest camping and outreach program for children ages 7 to 16 who are living in the shadow of HIV or AIDS.

  • Camp Sertoma
    Camp Sertoma was set up to provide growth oriented outdoor learning and wilderness camping experiences within a peer environment for youth who are deaf or hard of hearing.
     

Missouri
  • Wonderland Camp
    People of all ages and disabilities are welcome at Wonderland Camp. Activities include boating, fishing, archery, miniature golf, nature walks, and riflery.

Montana
  • Camp Mak-A-Dream
    Provides a medically-supervised, cost free experience for children and young adults with cancer.

Nebraska
  • Camp Kindle - Free summer camp for youth ages 7-18 who are infected with or affected by HIV and AIDS.
     
New Hampshire
  • Camp Allen
    Camp Allen is a non-profit summer camp for children and adults with special physical and developmental needs. Established in Boston, Massachusetts, the camp is located in Bedford, New Hampshire and is owned and operated by the Kiwanis Club of Boston and the Manchester Lions Club. Camp Allen's mission is to provide a summer camping opportunities for children, adults, and families with physical or developmental challenges.

New Jersey
  • Camp Dream Street
    Camp Dream Street is a special, week-long day camp experience serving the needs of children with cancer and other blood disorders. Siblings are also invited to participate in the wide variety of social and recreational activities provided at the camp.
     
  • Camp Oakhurst
    Serves children and adults with physical disabilities. Summer camp, year round respite and vacation programs.
     

  • Camp Quality
    Non-profit organization provides a free week long camping experience and year support program for children with cancer.
     

New Mexico New York
  • Camp Jened
    Serving adults with disabilities

  • Camp Northwood
    A summer camp for children with learning disabilities.

  • Camp Oakhurst
    A summer camp and year round respite program for children and adults with physical disabilities.

  • Camp Huntington
    Co-ed, overnight, 7-week program serving 6-21 year old campers with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, ADD, PDD, autism and other special needs.

  • Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch
    A camp for children with serious and chronic illnesses, part of the Paul Newman Hole in the Wall Gang camp family. Serves children with HIV/AIDS, cancer, hemophilia, spina bifida, and other serious illnesses with a medically safe and fun summer camp experience at no cost to the family. In 2004 will start offering a session for children and families where the camper is ventilator dependent for all or part of every day.
     

North Carolina
  • Camp Carefree
    Camp for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities in North Carolina.  Also provide a week for children with disabilities, a week for siblings and a week for well children who has a parent with a chronic illness or disability.
     
  • Camp Sky Ranch
    Located on 174 acres of forested land in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Camp Sky Ranch offers a fun-filled camping experience for people with disabilities.
     
  • Camp Timberwolf
    Camping program specifically designed for boys and girls ages six through twelve with ADD, ADHD, LD and similar behavioral challenges. The camp's primary goal is to facilitate the development of the positive character traits which can help these children move through life more peacefully and successfully.

  • Talisman Summer Camps
    Specializes in creating camps that offer adventure and learning experiences for children and teenagers with learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Asperger's syndrome and high-functioning autism.

Ohio
  • Camp Nuhop
    A residential summer camp for all children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and behavior disorders.

Pennsylvania
  • Camp Joy
    A special needs camp for kids and adults with developmental disabilities: mental retardation, autism, brain injury, and neurological disorders.

  • Camp Lee Mar
    This is a private residential camp for children and young adults with learning and developmental disabilities.

  • Camp Victory
    Established to serve chronically ill and physically disabled youths, Camp Victory has facilities that are equipped and available for people with disabilities. In addition to the regular camp scene, activities include casino nights, petting zoos, and talent shows. Both weekend and weeklong sessions are available.
     

  • The Woodlands
    Provides year-round enrichment programs for children and adults with disability and chronic illness. We partner with other disability-related organizations so they can hold their programs at our 32-acre, fully accessible facility, and we sponsor a number of our own programs that draw together individuals with a variety of disabilities.

South Dakota

  • Camps 4R Kids Foundation - A non-profit organization that seeks donations to fund free family camps and recreational experiences for kids with disabilities and their families.

Texas

  • Camp Summit
    A residential camp in Texas for children, youth, and adults who are developmentally delayed, physically challenged, multi-disabled or dual sensory impaired.
     
  • Star Ranch Summer Camp
    This camp is specifically designed for boys and girls who have ADD, ADHD and other learning disabilities.
     
  • Camp C.A.M.P. (Children’s Association for Maximum Potential)
    Camp C.A.M.P. accommodates adolescents with physical limitations, including amputations. Riflery, cookouts, carnivals, and dances are just a few of the activities offered to young persons ages 5 to 21. Fees can be waived or lowered by cost-sharing programs, sliding fee scales, and camp scholarships for lower-income families.

Vermont

  • Camp Thorpe
    We are a summer camp for children and adults with special needs. Our campers range in age from 10 to 80!

Virginia
  • Camp Optimism
    This summer residential camp for disabled and physically challenged children provides medical personnel and routine care on a 24 hour basis.

Wisconsin
  • One Step At A Time Camp
    Provides positive, safe, and fun camping and other experiences for children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer and leukemia, as well as survivors of childhood cancer and leukemia, while benefiting volunteers and affected families.

Wyoming
  • Camp Hope
    Wyoming's Summer Camp for Children with Diabetes
